Infrared Sauna San Francisco Bay Area

Inner Awakening Healing Center offers Infrared Sauna sessions.  Far Infrared Ray (FIR) or radiant heat (or radiant energy) is the band of light from the sun we perceive as heat. We cannot see this band of light with the naked eye, but we can feel this type of light in the form of heat. The infrared sauna is much more comfortable and safer than the traditional ‘dry’ saunas, by using a process called conversion, where heat is transferred directly to the body without having to first heat the air. Radiant Heat is absorbed by the body as much as 1 ½ inches below the skin producing 2 to 3 times the amount of sweat from conventional saunas.

Please note: If you are receiving ongoing treatment for any medical condition, please seek physician approval before using the sauna.

Can I do colon hydrotherapy after a sauna session?

Yes, it is highly recommended to have a colon hydrotherapy session after your sauna. The circulation and detoxification process activated by the radiant heat will not only dispose toxins through sweat, but also through the circulatory system, lymphatic system and organs into the digestive tract. Colon hydrotherapy is the most efficient way to continue the detoxification process by quickly carrying out the waste accumulated in large intestine or colon so that re-absorption does not occur.
